What can I say? It feels like that 'walk away' I was talking about before actually happened. It paid off to be away from DA for a few days. I've been able to think of alot and I'll have some new peices posted in a couple of days. This at school are going great :cute: apart from the fact that I got a bad report from math, but I was expecting that

I've been involved in school music-wise lately and I couldn't believe how well my performances actually turned out. On tuesday, I performed this song I wrote called "Crash". I worked on crash for about 2-3 nights, just trying to think of words that go together and what to write in general. It was basically about the consequences of drink and drug driving and how it's not only risking your life but the lives of others on the road. It sounds corny now XD but I'll have it posted, and it worked out pretty good. O performed at the library and everyone was staring, even though we were presenting our projects in anothe room. I was so happy with that, that it turned out so well and the hard work paid off :cute:

I mean, I was happy with that. My friend Tracey told me on monday that we had to perform at assembly on Wednesday with what we performed to the staff a few weeks before. It was Keith Martin's "Because of You". I really love that song, It's amazing. The only thing that held me back was when I messed up at the staff performance. I was proven wrong on stage. When i walked up the stage and got called, my heart was racing, Tracey was fine XD. We played through the song, it sounded so well and when it got the the keychange where I couldn't reach the notes in practice, I miraculously got it up on the spot! I was like in my head "YES! EAT THAT X.X I REACHED IT!" Ugh, it was such a good feeling. The room was pleased with it, and I had many congrats and I thanked back afterwards. That same day, Tracey got her student of the term award for her dedication in her music skills. I haven't told you yet that she's in 7th grade clarinet now, she is absolutely awesome and I was so glad to perform with her. I feel comfortable performing with her because most of our performances have been excellent.

Those music things opened up my eyes, that if you work hard and really go for what you believe, something right can happen in your life. Really, It's inspired me to really go for the things I want to achieve. Over last weekend, I've been compiling a folio for a leadership position next year at school. I'm going for Justice captain ^^ I mean I'm really interested in those non-profit orginisations like Amnesty and Caritas and really get concerned about international social justice issues. I filled out the whole booklet with my works from the site, awards, certificates, my CV, referrances and other stuff. I REALLY want that position for next year, I mean I'd be shattered if I can't get at least an interview for that spot, I worked really hard on the Folio piece. I'm not the most popular person at school, but If i put my mind to it I know achieving this is possible.
