+A Thousand Mile Wish+

Wow, Since Deviant Art took away my powers of HTML in journals, I've resolved back to my classic style of entry by entry (scratch that, 3 month subscription baby 
) but yes, how has everyone been? School starts up for me again tommorow and I've got a painful practice English Exam to complete... Won't be back from school until 5pm which is a huge bummer but what can you do?
These holidays to me have been something extraoridnary, I've been able to enjoy myself, go out with friends and write a new song... Everything I could ask for but I wish i just got that bit more study done then what I did but from this time forward i'll put all my energies into them.
What really got my hyped up was the completition of my latest song "A Thousand Mile Wish". Usually I would have one big event or reason behind each of my songs but this time it's different. From the people long ago that got the chance to see me poetry posted up, they would understand how each of my songs are backed with a personal experience.
This one hits close to the heart, This song is just the thoughts and emotions I've been feeling for the past few weeks and have just lingered from other feelings that used to be strong. Another thing that really inspired my new song was a photograph called, "Thousand Mile Wish" from
James Pipetti's gallery which in turn inspired the name of the new song!
The natural beauty of the shot and the my personal love of sunsets/sunrises combined caused me to write the song straight away. I have a copy of the lyrics if anyone is interested in reading but the song is posted on my music myspace so please if you have the time to visit my website do take a listen, I feel it was one of my more accomplished pieces apart from a few bumps here and there.
But please check out Pipetti's gallery, he is seriously an amazing photographer and his work is definitely under appriciated. His photos have these concepts in them that inspire me and with the quality of his photographs so high, I'm going to be using his work as a resource for a while.

thanks for writing to me, and it's great to be back! Things have been hectic, I practically don't have a social life at the moment since I'm focusing everything into exam preparation but midway through november everything should settle and i should be able to get back to focusing on my music and I may return to poetry. How about you man? How has life been?
